Education is
very important in every stages of life without cast, creed
and religion for the development and future of the society
as to be a true Indian.
In this millennium, our country is still under the bondage
of society where evil persists.
It is a duty of every citizen to eradicate this great evil
from the vicinity of one’s surrounding. Keeping this in mind
ANWC has started a Animation/Education/Natural Recourse
Management Programme for our village brethren. So the poor
may improve their lifestyle and have better position in next
generation |

Education has been identified as one of the main priorities by the
ANWC which includes non formal education , adult literacy and
tuitions. The beneficiaries are poor tribal, low caste children
hailing from villages and slums.
Non-Formal Education:
1994 children are benefiting from the programme both from slums as
well as rural areas mainly the tribal people/ 30 teachers are
working under two coordinators are striving towards the vision and
mission of Asha Niketan Welfare Centre
Adult Literacy Programme:
This is to give basic education to the people who can’t afford to
attend the schools. Before they leave their homes to the
filed/grazing, they are given adequate attention in the learning
the basics of education.
Tuition:
250 school going children are given tuition on regular basis. This
will further strengthen them in reviewing their lesson everyday to
cope up in their studies.
Community College :
The Community college is an alternative system of education, which
is aimed at the empowerment of the disadvantaged and the
underprivileged (Urban poor, Rural Poor, Tribal Poor, and Women)
through appropriate skills development leading to gainful
employment in collaboration with the local industry and the
community and achieve skills for employment and self employment of
the above sections of people in the society.
The college provides training in the following trades:
Health Assistant
Beautician
Computer Hardware
The Bhopal Community College is subject to be affiliated to Tamil
Nadu Open University.
