CHAIRMAN'S CONCERN

Education is very important in every stages of life without cast, creed and religion for the development and future of the society as to be a true Indian.
In this millennium, our country is still under the bondage of society where evil persists.
It is a duty of every citizen to eradicate this great evil from the vicinity of one’s surrounding. Keeping this in mind ANWC has started a Animation/Education/Natural Recourse Management Programme for our village brethren. So the poor may improve their lifestyle and have better position in next generation

      

Vision :
Our Vision is to establish a just society rooted in Gospel values such as Love, Justice, Equality and Peace.

Mission :
Restore the human dignity of the poor especially the oppressed and the Marginalized through the process of empowerment.

Objectives :
• To enhance better living conditions of the target community.
• To conserve better Natural Resource Management.
• To establish better linkage with Government Organisation and NGO’s.
• To impart education to the marginalized.
• To reinstate a better and healthy society.
• To establish justice and peace through Right Based Approach.
• To develop a committed and dedicated personnel in development sector.

STRATEGIES :
To achieve the above objective, we will strengthen the existing structures in our target areas. We will make sure that women play a major role in development sector. Hence the following strategies may be adopted.
 Capacity building of SHGs.
 Linkages of SHGs with financial institutions.
 Federation of SHGs for more bargaining power.
 Advocacy for awareness to rights and entitlements in health, education and PDS.
 Capacity building for elected women among Panchayat members & others.
 Linkages with other Government Organisation and NGO’s working in that area.

• Women atrocity
• Child Marriage
• Female illiteracy/high rate of dropouts
• Low health status, MMR, IMR, HIV/AIDS
• Alcoholism & gambling
• Dowry
• Over expenditure on festivals
 Economic & Livelihood Problems:
• Skewed distribution of land resources.
• Poor irrigation & agriculture facilities.
• Poor institutional support of PDS and Banks.
• Active influence of middle man.
• Wage inequality and insufficiency
• Control of labour contractor on community.
 Political and Governance problem:
• No representation in Gram Sabha & Panchayat.
• Proxy/low women representation in Gram Sabha.
• Poor participation of people in Gram Sabha.
• Poor information flow of Government services and programmes.
